Thanks to all those involved in organising the Dinner and Awards evening, Kate and I really enjoyed it. The Winford Manor was a good choice of venue and the food we thought was excellent !
It was nice to see Paul White again for a chat, and also Pauline Gullick whom we had not seen for a long while. Didn't know she still lives in Bristol and only two miles from us!
It was a great surprise to be awarded the John Dando Trophy - I had no idea I would be leaving with anything other than a full stomach !
Excellent venue both the quantity and quality of the food was good to. Top that with good service and no one trying to get us out even though we did not leave until 00:30 was a great improvement of some venues we have been at.
Good to see 41 members (and family) present. Considering that at least 10 of the regular attendees could not come due to other co0mmitments it could easily have been over 50.
Well done John Dando and Denise of course.
