CASTLE COMBE - RALLY DAY
 (United Kingdom)

Tavern Motor Club has again purchased 10 track passes for this years Rallyday event at Castle Combe on 22 September.  Anyone that wants to buy a pass should get in touch with me ASAP.  They are £25 each this year.  The cars can be parked on the Tavern stand when not on the track.

Also if you are coming to the Rallyday but don't want any track time why not bring your Rally Car along and park it on the Tavern stand.  I need to know who is coming at least a couple of weeks in advance please.

I hope to be there at least to look around and support the club on the stand .... however as Sarah is due that weekend I can't commit to be there due to the uncertainty ... If there are places left and I can be the on the day I'll bring the Escort.

Re: CASTLE COMBE - RALLY DAY

I now have 8 track passes left.  Jim is interested in at least 3 but has not booked yet so I really have 5 passes left.

Booked so far:

Martin Clarke - 2 passes

Jim Munden - probably 3 passes

Re: CASTLE COMBE - RALLY DAY

Newest addition to the Tavern stand and taking 2 track passes is Steve Hendy with is Focusr WRC.

This is a 2000 spec car originally built by M Sport and used by Petter Solberg. The car has since been used to win the Belgian Tarmac Championship in 2005 by Xavier Bouche.

Jim Munden is still only a possibility as he is due to go on holiday that weekend and is currently in negotiation with his wife to travel later!!!

Jim is a definate now (or as definately as Jim gets, apologies Jim).  He has an 11:40 track session and is going on holiday in the afternoon.

That's what we like, commitment from our members.

Nice to see you back on the website Lee, where is the Woodpecker report?

Looking at the photos it looks like it was a good day ....

How did Dave get on, is he pleased with his Escort having been able to at last "give it some"!!!  And was Denise still smiling when she got back ????

Sorry I didn't make it ended up having an extremely productive day in teh workshop (I'll post an update later) just trying to get as much done before the baby arrives ....

Don't worry, the first one is always a week or two late, should get it finished in that time.
