Fat Albert is all over bar the wind up meeting, summer seems to have finally appeared so what is everyone doing?
There is a DVD night on September 3 at the Carpenters Tavern. Nick is organising a Treasure Hunt on September 2 - details soon. Alan is still looking for anyone that wants to do some off road Mountain biking at Stockhill Woods in Priddy.

After a very enjoyable Fat Albert (thanks again to all those who made it so good, including all the marshals!) I am preparing for the Wugging Stages this coming weekend. It's the Astra's turn for another blast while a few items are sorted out on the Golf, including a bad oil leak which could be coming from the crankshaft oil seal.Gearbox out job to check/rectify,and at the same time a lower final drive will be fitted to help get off the start line quicker - before some very late!braking at the end of the longest straight at Keevil I could reach 7000 in 5th (118mph) with the chicane removed but it is never going to get to 7500, so it is considered a bit too high ratio at present.
It is hoped to have the Golf ready for Caerwent Patriot Stages on 30th September.
