Several crews out on the Woodpecker on 4 September............Space for one more car on our stand at the Rally Day at Castle Combe on 18 September........3 track sessions for sale as well..................
As you know myself and Hugh share our travelling to Dundry for club nights as we both live close to each other and its good for our carbon footprints.
Back in the snow we had a couple of eventful journeys.
This week topped it all as this time at approx 11.30 pm going past the airport before dropping into the Combe we meet a Polish chap head on at 40 mph on our side of the road.
Big Bang but we all get out ok.
He claims he was trying to do a U turn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My poor old Monterey which is part of the family and has been a faithful friend is know probably game over although we got it down to Rons under its own steam.
I was wandering if anyone else has had these kind of adventures with Hugh?
Denise told me about the accident. Hope you are both OK. Did you go to A&E on Tuesday?
Yeah both ok i have just suffered bruising to my left shoulder. Feeling a bit angry as to what has happened and seeing my truck in daylight and the extent of the damage.
The insurance company of the Polish guy have come up trumps and i have a vehicle to use a very nice Subaru Forrester the quad cam turbo.
Happy days but it can drink some unleaded!
Bilmey....he was insured???!!!!!
I thought those Forresters were not meant to be very good?
Exactly what i was thinking.
They also tend to have a totally independant witness(usually their brother/sister/cousin/uncle/aunt)who wasn't even there suddenly claim they saw the accident and it was all your fault!!!
This happened to a mate who was knocked off his motorbike by a asian taxi driver.
