They picked up a puncture near the start of the stage.

The yellow flag kicked in on SS4 as well.

Not sure if that helped them or not

Through SS7 OK 49th fastest and now have moved up to 51st overall recovering some of the lost places from SS4 yesterday.

General comment - no mention of rally on BBC sports news.  No mention of rally on www.bbc.co.uk/sport.  No mention in Radio 5 Live news yesterday (while I was listening anyway). Hopeless!!!!

AS above Congratulations on finishing having done all of the stages.

Looked good each time you came past me Hafren,Halfway and Rheola.

I think your seeding was unfair more pace than some of the others seeded higher than you.

Thanks to everyone.

At the start of Rheola we asked where Nick was marshalling in stage as I was going to toot the horn as we went past. Couldn't miss him! Jumping up & down on the top of a bank as we approached the corner waving & clapping madly

Yes, but it is good for the ego when you vertake a car 4 miles into the first stage!

I was getting a radio message everytime you left the start line and when you went through the finish...

(or when one of the team saw you on the road or in Tescos in Glynneath!)

Re: Rally GB Tim & Kit
 (United Kingdom)

The damage:

Front bumper damage to front N/S, needs minimum of a new plastic grill and think we could repair with some alloy the backing part of the main bumper.Repair to rear quarter panel, paint rear quarter, supply and paint new rear bumper. Repair and paint bottom of both doors, re paint front bumper.

Gearbox requires strip and check, diff preload very low
Clutch to inspect
N/S and O/S front lower arms bushes worn to excess
Lower engine mounting bushes worn to excess
Sumpguard badly bent needs to be straightened
N/S and O/S steering rack arms bent. Rack needs to come off and get overhauled and replace both steering arms
Exhaust centre section very badly damaged
floor crossmember badly damaged and reqs new
rear wheel scrapers and beam protection requires renewing
N/S/F shockabsorber leaking fluid
O/S/R shockabsorber rose joints worn to excess (suspension needs to be overhauled and re-gassed)
Sill protection to renew
Fuel pump to replace inside tank
Radiator damaged and bent N/S/F from bumper impact
Strut top mountings worn to excess
N/S/F and O/S/F brake pipes chaffed through to steel pipe
Rear mud flaps to replace (one missing!)
Heater inop hot cold
Could do with the power steering cooling kit fitting, to help oil degrigation on longer events
Front hubs to remove strip and check bearings and lower ball joint fixings

I might be able to save you a couple of pounds I think the missing one might be in the back of my disco, still covered in Welsh mud !.... I'll check I haven't opened the doors since I parked it up after getting back from RGB!

A couple of quid?  These come from MSport!!!! Unfortunately I think you will only find half a mudflap in there as it was damaged before it fell off.
