Rally of the Tests started in Newcastle last night and continues until sunday night.
Rutherford senior is out with Jim Smith in a cortina and looking good lying 7th O/A after the prologue section. He said it was slippery but excellent fun in the forests where they were a minute early at the end of the regularity!! Without this, they would be 2nd O/A!!
Ed Rutherford is out doing clock duties all weekend (trying to wreck yet another rental car!!!) and Martin Clark is out marshalling.

Jim Smith and Bob Rutherford brought their Cortina home and won class 8 by 14minutes!! A truely dominant performance which everyone should be very proud of. They hit problems when the Cortina refused to go anywhere on the final morning of the event, but after some fettling they were back on the road and came home to a fantastic result.
Sadly their sunday problems drpoped them out of the top 10, but WELL DONE OLD MAN !!!!
