2010 - Who is planning what?
 (France)

Ok, so who is planning what for next year....

I'll kick off....

At present I won't probably won't be completing, unless something in work drastically changes or our "eBay Business" takes off !  (I keep thinking about selling the Escort, but my "heart" stops me!).  I suspect I'll be out Marshalling on a few events with either TMC or RST as appropriate and if I can help out Club members servicing / Management etc I will... (Also if needed helpingout a couple of friends in an EVO6 & MG). Also without doubt I'll be back in South Wales next December for WRGB.

Oh and I suspect I might have some involvement in an event running on 31st July !

Thinking of doing Haye Park Rally Sprint in January - 30 miles without someone telling me where to go - frightening!!!

Wyedean definately, not sure about Denise yet.

As many National events as we can afford, Severn Valley, Bulldog, Swansea Bay, Woodpecker  maybe.

Don't crash again...................

Hopefully Wyedean first event.

Still sorting out bit in between.

I'll be starting the year with the Rallysprint at Weston, something different for a change and sounds very interesting.

After which BT and I will have another crack at the CMSG championship starting with Caerwent in March and another six or seven rounds, not sure which ones yet. Will be using the Astra yet again and the Golf all being well.

Longcross was the Astra engine's 36th event without a strip-down and the head has been off once for a precautionary head gasket change after a coolant hose burst just before the start of the last stage of the day at Smeatharpe two years back. Bloody marvelous these redtops!

Just bought another engine for the Golf ex-corrado 16v nicely run-in with 120k been stripped and checked all is excellent so the rally head and cams plus the twin 45's being fitted and should be in the car before too long.

It's being done by a proper engine builder this time.........

We'll be out to test our new proflex suspension at Brean and again on the Wyedean. We want to get a good feel for the car on both tarmac and gravel before we commit 100% to our 2010 campaign. We are pretty sure where we will be but you never know, it could all change!

Really looking forward to getting out on a few enduro events too, but that all depends on getting a car of some sort.

Apart from that I will be spending the bank holiday weekends taking part in the guernsey hillclimb in my new toy! Im keen to have a go this year just to have a bit of cheap fun and see what happens.

Good luck to everyone for a successfull year of rallying

Sadly it's a bit of a hairdressers car... but I just couldn't refuse it! RenaultSport Clio Trophy (click link to see a pic) based on the 182 cup with a few 'extras'! 2litre (182bhp), only 500 ever made (I've got 477), sachs racing damers, goes and handles like stink! I really like it and it's a lot of fun.

The problem I've got is that I bought it from a guy whose had it from new, never been out in the rain, immaculate condition and I think it would break his heart to see it on the hillclimb.....oh well!!

Haircut over.....!!
