Tour of Caerwent 28th March
 (N/A)

Anyone thinking of doing this event who has not already done so, had better get their entry in quick. Six weeks to go and they have got 60 entries in already! The regs have been out less than two weeks.

I will be doing it with BT in the Astra, this being our first CMSG event of the year.

Anyone else ?

Eight Tavern crews entered so far and only a few places left with four weeks to go.

Bovington two weeks before should be a good warm-up for some of us, just got to make sure the cars come out of that one ok.

John Leigh out driving a Nova.....?  Last time I saw him driving it was a certain red Beemer at the Rallysprint.

What a day, what an event, what a rush!! Thrilled to bits to finish my first event as a driver, with no damage to the car and only a few bits of fettling required for the next event.

Started off slowly, having only driven it 100 yards prior to scrutineering, so after stage 1 was lying 87th and 18th in class. Got my head down more as day went on, took huge chunks out of my previous times each time, eventually finished 46th and 10th in class. Happy days, and certainly something to build on. Congrats to Steve C and Rob P for finishing once again, commiserations to Jim on the driveshaft shearing after 300 yrds on stage 1.........and Mark C must be coming around to the booby prizes at the club presentation night.....he's surely got to be in the running for the balls up award after running out of fuel on stage 2!!!!
