Great reulst Will, shame about the codeboard.

Not so good for Martin and Bob, the dreaded ditches got them again.  I wondered why they had dissapeared from the results.

I assume they were not wearing crash helmets when they had the accident??

wrutherford wrote no helmets, but speaking to dad yesterday, he was more concerned with the water coming into the car when they came to rest in the ditch. I think a bit of panic set in for a while. I too ran the whole event without a helmet, and honestly never felt in danger. I've been more concerened on 12 cars (not the 2 accidents!) than this weekend.

I can understand him being concerned about the water coming in but it would have been far more serious if Mike had been unconcious becuase he had hit his head on the roll cage.

I have always said that the safety rules in Endurance rallying are dumb and I stick by it.

Have a go at loading up the picture to there.  It should be quite simple to follow but there are some security restrictions.
