Re: Quinton Stages

Thanks Keith.

It was a rally of errors.  We set a slow pace in the difficult conditions and still had problems loosing about 40 seconds.  But our rivals going that bit quicker had  bigger problems and fell by the wayside.  One roll, one mechanical failure and one "beached on a bank for 2 minutes" meant that we claimed our first BTRDA 1st in class.

I'll try and do a report sometime having not done one for ages.

If only it were true Tim.

The MN also said (under the photo) that it was our first class win in 14 years which is not correct although it was correct in the Class Round Up.

MN also said that the 306 RWD used its traction to win the class.  I did not say that to them and it is blatently not correct as we had no grip all day.

I think like any newspaper that they make things up so that their article sounds better.

However the class win was correctly reported and Denise did call the whole of Route 60 blind with no mistakes and it was our first class win on a BTRDA event in 34 attempts.
