Great week had by all....shame about the gearbox trying to jump out the car- quite literally. Jim was going well, and got the Colin Mcrae handbrake award, which was voted for by the organisers. He looked well chuffed on sat night receiving the award from Nicky Grist.
The rumours about the rental car are true......within 2 miles of Dan picking me up from the airport- what a start to the event! Although at least he did it properly and took out a very new merc!
Great event. You all should look into it for the future, it's serious fun.

There is a picture of Jim in Motorsport News this week after winning the Handbrake Turn Trophy and then they spell his name wrong!
The judges at a secret location were looking for"pure crowd entertainment"that'll be Jim then.
