Looking forward to the event this saturday. Be good to get out in the Nova again- lots of works been put into the car after Julian's incident at Smeatharpe during the summer. New gearbox, and serious upgrade on the engine, so will be nice to see how it goes.

Getting frustrated with the lack of info on the website, but can't grumble!!!

Well, it was all going so well.......!

We were really getting into the rally and enjoying it. Stage 1 we had a slight off but nothing major, and Julian was struggling to get to grips with the new engine and gearbox in the slippery conditions, but he was quick, and then got quicker and quicker through the next few stages. We took 2nd O/A going into stage 5, but on the last SQ L the back end went a bit wide and hit a curb, which bent the rear beam quite badly, and it was game over. We got the car out of the stage and still set fastest stage time.

Had a few hairy moments through the day, and quite a number of times the car would turn towards the trees halfway down a straight at over 100mph!!
