Re: BREAN 2009

Nick get there early doors then you just tell the bloke on the entry to the service area, using your usual 'whos running this event voice'   that they wont be able to start the event with out you being at the stage start and just drive to the start and park it there by the gate.

Dave Perrot did not get a run for no apparent reason.  Phil Sprason is in from what I have heard.

That's good Keith, will make a change for you in an Escort!

I see Dave A is in the silly seat as well for this event - is this a one-off ride for him?

Hope to see you all still running on the Sunday when I marshal.

I think its a one off for Dave,he is helping Jon out with his new escort as its the cars first event.

See you at the weekend Steve.

Yes, although Dale collected Jim's car about 45 minutes after every other car had disappeared from parc ferme, as Jim was still eating breakfast.

Simon stopped right by us, not sure what the problem was, but got pushed back into service, Jim last seen going very slowly with hazards on. Ironically both on first stage today.

Mark Chapman came through the start twice with steam coming from under his bonnet (and from under his helmet I expect, but I didn't look that closely) but was fine after that so obviously got it sorted.

JD thumbs upping & laughing all the time, despite huge dent appearing in his door half way through the day.

I have nearly thawed out.

But not quite!

Simon broke a shaft after hitting a kerb by the hairpin by the start and Jim's gearbox broke.

Jon Enwright broke his wheel and axle on a rock also on sundays first stage.

Better news Roger and John,Rob and Shaun,Mark Chapman,Lee and myself and Dave all finished
