A good result for Martin & Georgina Clark with 13th o/a and 2nd in class. Steve Conner was never far behind in the Astra, and ended the day just 18 secs down on the MG ZR in 19th o/a 4th in class. Only 4.7 secs covered 4 crews in the 16th - 19th places. JD was out servicing. Conditions were warm and dry, giving an advantage to the more powerful cars. There were fewer retirements than average,with only 5 out of the top 30 and a total of 17 of the 56 starters not making it to the finish.
